Second Spring: A grounded gathering for those moving through (peri)menopause

Attendees were welcomed to the Reverie, a beautiful space in Lantzville, BC that overlooks the Nanoose Bay harbour and situated amongst cedar trees.

We gathered in an intimate group to learn and reflect on this massive transition called menopause. A truly unique offering that is a different experience than attending a large menopause event. It was created to be small so folks that have sensitive nervous systems or those that were seeking depth (not breadth) had a place to learn and connect with others. Dr. Jiselle Griffith, ND taught about us about the stages and development of perimenopause in an embodied way. She normalized and demystified common (and uncommon symptoms) and offered ways to find relief. We were lucky to have someone so skilled in this area spend the morning with us.

Farah Nazarali, Ayurvedic and yoga practitioner taught about dosha’s and how to find your two dominant doshas. She offered many ways to support one’s dosha and through foods, movement, lifestyle/hobbies.

Stay tuned for other menopause focused events!
